Any advice on how to reach Ischia with the various means of transport.

By Car/Moto:

Reached the highway exit of Naples, follow direction Zona Portuale (Port Area) then enter in the Port area through gate Pisacane to reach Porta di Massa; the duration of the trip by ship is about 1 hour and half. Alternatively follow Tangenziale (ring road), then Pozzuoli Via Campana and then port, ferries to the islands; the duration of the trip by ship is about 1 hour.

By Plane/Train:

Arriving by plane at Capodichino Airport or Naples Central Station you can reach Beverello or Mergellina terminal by bus or taxi (Predetermined rates: 10.50€ station-port, 19.00€ Port-Airport); the duration of the trip by hydrofoil. However you can access to Porta di Massa to travel with the ship.

Once on the island follow the direction Barano, pass the center until you reach the hamlet of Buonopane; Villa Panoramica is situated on a private road at the sign indicating Buonopane. Nearby there are 3 parking areas in addition to the private parking outside the building. For those traveling by public transport from the port of Ischia take the bus CD and get off at the first stop of Buonopane, the bus stop in direction Serrara-Forio or Ischia-Barano is short walk from the apartment.
